Taking Payments This Week
– Tue, Sep 29, 2026 at 01:59:11 PM
Hi all,
Shortly after our last update, we ran into some issues with Stripe which stopped us from being able to collect payments. We're glad to say that this is now resolved, and all payments will be collected on Thursday, October 1st. You should have received an email from Backerkit notifying you today.
Because shipping rates all-around have increased significantly since starting this campaign, some of our international rates were increased to reflect current rates. We understand that some of these rates are more than anticipated and at times outweigh the cost of the tier you supported. If your international order is affected here, please contact us directly and we'll work with you to improve your rate.
Once payments go through, we'll be able to start fulfillment. Stay tuned for an update early next week on that front.
Thank you all for your continued patience and support!

Hey Battlecats team!
For those of you in the Los Angeles area, we wanted to give you a heads up that Mark London will be making a special appearance at Golden Apple Comics this weekend!
We'll be celebrating the release of Mark's epic new crossover event Endless Night, the bombastic horror/noir/thriller convergence of his genre-bending UNDERWORLDuniverse, which includes Revolution 9, Exit City, and Hour of the Wolf. (All four series' are stand-alones with self-contained stories – but you may catch a couple of extra Easter Eggs if you've read them all.)
Mark will be signing books, chatting with fans, answering questions, and offering advice to aspiring creators and Mad Cave aficionados. We'll also have plenty of Battlecats comics and merch available for Mark to sign, as well as other fan favorite series' Mark has worked on in the past. (Feel free to bring your own stuff, too!)
Zack Kaplan (Dark Empty Void) and David Pepose (The Devil That Wears My Face, Speed Racer) will be hanging out and signing books too, plus some folks from the Mad Cave crew will be hanging out to meet and talk with fans about the comics business and/or just regular nerd stuff. (Best of all, THERE WILL BE DONUTS!)
RSVP at our Eventbrite link to let us know you're coming, or just swing by to snag a doughnut and say hello.
More updates are currently in the pipeline for the Omnibus Editions and Vinyl soundtracks – stay tuned! Meanwhile, hope to see you Saturday.
