Greetings Backers!

Just a quick note to let all our friends and supporters know we'll be sending out our survey this week to collect shipping details and other info related to rewards fulfillment for the BATTLECATS OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK campaign.

Please fill out the survey ASAP and don't hesitate to hit up the Mad Cave team with any questions, comments, or feedback!

If you have difficulty locating the survey email once it's been sent out, you can request a re-send by entering the email associated with your original campaign pledge on our BackerKit landing page. Feel free to reach out to our team with any questions or concerns.

As of this week, our fulfillment estimate looks, tentatively, the same as when we sent out our previous update in December—pledge rewards will be deployed around mid-April and physical items should arrive by the end of that month in most cases. We appreciate your patience as our editorial and production teams continue to finalize details of these gorgeous new collectible editions in order to ensure optimal quality and presentation. (Translation: We're really excited about how cool they're gonna look!)

Regarding Late Pledges—the Late Pledge option in Kickstarter has been officially retired as of this week in order to streamline the fulfillment process through BackerKit. But have no fear! We're still accepting late pledges via our newly-launched BackerKit Pre-Order Store!

Head on over to the BackerKit Pre-Order Store if you'd like to submit a late campaign pledge, refer any of your friends to the project, and/or include any additional add-ons alongside your current rewards tier.

UPDATE #7: An Exclusive BATTLECATS OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK Announcement!

Greetings BATTLECATS Gang!

Once again, we want to thank all of our incredible backers for your love, support, enthusiasm, and feedback throughout this campaign. The BATTLECATS OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK project was Mad Cave's first Kickstarter endeavor and we're deeply honored so many of our friends and fans have chosen to embark on this amazing journey with us! We absolutely couldn't have done it without you and are excited for all the future opportunities ahead to keep building transformative new worlds together.

We're nearing the home stretch for our beautifully redesigned BATTLECATS OMNIBUS books and are looking at a new delivery estimate of approximately mid-April 2025. We're proud to share that interior redesigns for this gorgeous new edition are completed and we're absolutely blown away by what our team has accomplished here--this epic saga has truly never looked or felt more breathtaking!

We're currently in the process of working with legendary artist and letterer (and frequent Mad Cave collaborator) Russ Wooton on a complete re-lettering of our gorgeous interior pages so that our fans can experience BATTLECATS in the most dynamic, immersive way possible. We can't wait for you to witness all the dedication, care, and hard work that has gone into making this project a reality.

Additionally, we have a special announcement to share with our backers regarding this stellar new edition of BATTLECATS. Though we fell just slightly short of our $15k stretch goal, our team has decided to move forward with including stunning gold-leaf edged pages at no additional cost to any of our backers.

We'll be in touch in 2025 with more updates, easter eggs, and our survey as we continue to move forward with our production and fulfillment process. In the meantime, here's a closer look at some of the additional materials we'll be including in the BATTLECATS OMNIBUS!

One last reminder! Kickstarter recently launched a new feature called "Late Pledges," which allows folks to pledge after the campaign ends at a 10% increased pledge amount. We'll be keeping this feature open for the time being, in case anyone missed the campaign. Tell your friends! But for all official backers, fear not, your base pledge amount is locked in.

UPDATE #6: The BATTLECATS Campaign has Concluded and is SUCCESSFULLY FUNDED!

Thank you to everyone who supported the BATTLECATS OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK campaign! Our live Kickstarter campaign period is now officially concluded, and we are FULLY FUNDED with two Stretch Goals reached. That is AMAZING.

What's next?

Well, there's plenty of work for the Mad Cave team to do! We'll be rolling up our sleeves, wrapping up our design efforts and working with printers and manufacturers to finalize the product. We'll continue to post updates so that you can see the great care and attention that we're dedicating to the omnibus, its soundtrack, and the various other elements!

Let's talk Surveys! We'll be sending out surveys within the next couple weeks. This is the stage where you will provide your shipping information, plus have the opportunity to upgrade your pledge and purchase any additional add-ons from the campaign. Surveys are required in order to ship your rewards, so please keep an eye out for it!

UPDATE #5: Stretch Goal #2 Reached with ONLY FOUR HOURS LEFT!

GREAT NEWS! With the BATTLECATS OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK Kickstarter closing in on its final campaign hours, we've now surpassed our Stretch Goal #2!

Every hardcover edition of the BATTLECATS OMNIBUS will have a blue ribbon bound into its spine to serve as a bookmark for the reading experience!

We only have 4 HOURS LEFT of our campaign, so there's still a chance that we might hit our $15K Stretch Goal to add Gold Leaf Edges to our hardcover editions. With any luck, we'll get it over the threshold!

UPDATE #4: First Stretch Goal Achieved with 24 HOURS LEFT!

We're on a roll!

With 24 hours left on Mad Cave's first-ever crowdfunding campaign — "BATTLECATS: COMPLETE OVERSIZED OMNIBUS & SOUNDTRACK" — we have surpassed our first Stretch Goal!

We will be applying a UV Spot Cover Treatment to both the Softcover and Hardcover Editions of our Battlecats Omnibus book. Gotta love the premium treatment!

Fingers crossed and we'll hit one — or both! — of our other Stretch Goals before the Kickstarter ends at 1:00pm ET (10:00am PT) tomorrow, October 22nd.
